Fame
offers its students many opportunities to put their training into
practice throughout the year. The calendar of events outlines these
regular events.
Club
Days
Club
Days are held in first term, to provide students with the opportunity
of performing on stage. Fame's professional performing groups, including
a number of the agency's tutors, also perform on these days. Family
and friends are welcome to attend and there is a small admission charge.
Club days are great fun and extremely popular.
Junior
Musical
In
second term the Fame Juniors work on their Musical which is presented
in the Fame Theatre over two weekends in September. This musical involves
some extra rehearsals leading up to the performances. The Musical
is a great experience for students as they learn many aspects of live
theatre production. Bookings are open to family and friends as well
as the general public.
Young
Fame Musical
The
Young Fame Musical, involving all of our students ages five to seven
will be presented in the Fame Theatre in June.
Senior
Recitals
These special presentations involving all the senior aged students,
take place at the end of the second term.

Junior
/ Young Fame Musical
The combined Junior and Young Fame musicals are
held on two weekends in June. These performances are for family and
invited guests and also provide an opportunity for parents to meet
the Director, Tutors, Den Mums and other Fame families.
Senior
Musical
The Senior Musical is presented in the Third Term, in the Fame
Theatre. This involves all students of high school age and over and
is one of the highlights on Fame's Calendar of Events. The Senior
Musical is also performed over two weekends and is open to bookings
from family, friends and the general public.
Fame
Follies
Our Christmas Clubs - known as the Fame Follies - are presented at
the end of the Fourth Term. This is a presentation of the year's work,
performed by the entire Fame student company at the Schonell Theatre,
University of Queensland.
Upcoming student productions
Fame
also performs in shopping towns and other venues at various times
of the year for all types of promotions and presentations.
